thanks for reminding me, i've wanted to watch this since i first saw it but its hard to keep track of movie releases as the seasons go by.
It might not have been so weird if there were more chemistry between the main guy and the cheerleader girl, as it was, it just felt awkward, and the earlier parts of the movie seemed to convey that whatever they had in the past ((which was already pretty shallow, considering she didn't even have his email adress)) was gone.
Also, it generally makes it worse because of baseball guy asking cheerleader girl out in the beginning, I mean, I know we hear something about the ace having to date the cheer-leader, but there was a little too much hinting towards him liking her that he never ends up showing in the end, instead just immediately changing dials and saying he likes the MC, even though all we'd seen between the two was some sympathy.
