Dark Falz was hyped up for, what? 2 or 3 episodes? We saw how destructive a force it can be (and most Phantasy Star veterans know that DF is a force to be reckoned with). So why in the fuck was it able to be down by a laser, take forever to regenerate and then get beaten by Itsuki's super move in one shot?
It's worse when you consider that this is supposed to be one of the strongest beings in the universe and yet Itsuki was able to beat it with no problem? Even more worse when you consider everyone came in to add nothing to the fight, doing basically jack dick.
None of the character ties were resolved. We know Dark Falz is going to come back, so why not go through having the reason Aika disappeared for a while be that she became the host for Dark Falz to keep it from returning to Earth on its own?
Hell, the actual in-game fights against Dark Falz are far more exciting than this anticlimactic bullshit.

The point is that it's bullshit that Dark Falz was done in two shots and one of them just being by Itsuki's OP skill.
As a series it was decent overall, with some episodes significantly better than others. At least the girls were cute.

Anon pls. Dark Falz has resurrected for 5 minutes or so and it probably wasn't at full power. It hasn't even integrated into it's vessel at all so Itsuki was able to break Rina out easily. Besides, who knows how much of a de-buff it is to remove the vessel where all the photons are from Dark Falz's body.
I enjoy the show for what it is and I enjoy the game for what it is as well.
