Fullbring is the natural power of a human manifested through something precious to them.
It's just similar to hollow powers because hollow form is your natural power manifested through your body. That's why Chad's powers is similar to a hollow, though Chad still have his heart.

Ichigo's power was explained in detail. Basically, Old Man and the Hollow were fucking with him: the Hollow is both his Hollow powers and Zangetsu's power, and Old Man is Quincy powers.
Rukia isn't best girl, it's Yoruichi.

Fullbring is a power given to those whose mothers were exposed to hollows. From a practical stand point, they're just shitty stands.
The Quincy are invading Soul Society to try and get their leader on the throne as the new Soul King. It's implied Soul Society went full nazi in the past and tried to wipe out the Qunicies which is why they're so angry.
Ichigo's mom was a Quincy, and was attacked by a pretty powerful Hollow. ichigo's dad gave up his powers to save her and they fug'd. The old man in Ichigo's sword is secretly his Qunicy powers, in reality White Ichigo is the true spirit of his sword.
Ichigo's powers have never been a mystery, he just has a lot of them.
I think Rukia is still on the ground fighting mooks with Renji. We got Goddess Mode RUkia which was cool but she and Ichigo haven't started banging yet.

Fullbringer's abilities need to be drawn out by Hollow reiatsu. They can't exist on their own. Inner powers exist in the soul, yes, but to access them you either need to become Hollow or use Hollow reiatsu to access it.
Shinigami use blank hollow vessels that resonate with their soul and begin to mirror their inner powers.
Fullbringers use the leftover Hollow reiatsu after an attack to awaken their inner abilities which are then imprinted on something important to them. Which is very similar to Asauchi/Zanpaktou.
Quincy are the only difference because they can't handle Hollow reiatsu. So they need a piece of Yhwach's soul to act as the bridge instead.
