As a general rule, I don't celebrate "Small holidays" with him. Considering the fact that he's immortal, his perception of time would make it seem like we're having celebrations every week! I'm agnostic and my husbando seems like he'd be spiritual at the most, so into the trash it goes.

Usually he's a need-to-be-alone-with-his-thoughts kinda guy, which I don't entirely enjoy, but I can understand that because I'm the same way. On top of that he considers my job to be quite important, so something must be terribly wrong if he doesn't want me to go. I'd probably be so terrified to think that she was in peril in the first place that the broken plates would be the furthest thing from my mind, as plates are replaceable.
