I like this slow but steady kind of character development.
Over the course of the episodes I started to like this guy more and more.
He started as a useles and idiotic wimp and by the end he looked like a lawful hero.
The "bad guys" also started to look more human and likeable.
Overall I liked this series and I'm glad I put up with the nonsense of the first episodes, looking forward to second cour.

I am actually starting to think that she might just be an incredibly adept user of rinzu, like her mother was.
Back when they were kids she was already boasting about her control of those rinzu spheres she could make, while Azuma fumbled around even making a tiny pebble of his own.
It could be that she considers herself a rightful heart user without a heart or a buranki. And haven't sought a bubuki of her own, instead mastering the use of rinzu.
Then again, this peculiar staff of hers might actually be a bubuki. Time will tell.

Another question I'm still asking myself is about the Russian team. Anyone can only have one part of a buranki, and bubuki are inherited from parent to child, and yet, the Russian twins were 2 different parts of a buranki while their brother was another one, which wouldn't really make sense seeing as it's impossible to have 3 parents.

The impression I got was that bubuki are passed on, along with your rinzu/powers. But that all bubuki aren't necessarily inherited.
Like, if you get a kid you'll lose your powers and your bubuki. But if you have powers, you can bond with any currently free bubuki. Or something along those lines.
Souya was shown to have several bubuki on his fingers with different abilities.
And all of team Entei remade their bubuki using old bubuki cores.
There was also that thing about Hiiragi initially wanting Oubu's heart from Azuma for himself.
And we also saw Zetsubi heading out with Entei, with a heart from a headless buranki.
Both hinting at bubuki users being able to claim and use buranki hearts that weren't their own.
So if you have bubuki powers but never inherited a bubuki, I am still fairly positive that you can still claim one if you come across one that isn't currently claimed by someone else.
