Unless you're going into the STEM business, there's no reason to need to know the volume of any solid other than some simple elementary shapes like spheres or prisms.

In those cases, a simple intuitive formula is enough and it makes sense to most children.

Why would you want to teach children calculus before they're even able to do simple algebra?

Well, volume of figures using definite integrals just isn't something you can teach very quickly. There are way too many special cases and methods. Disc about x axis, washer about x axis, disc about y axis, washer about y axis, disc and washer about horizontal axis besides x axis, disc and washer about vertical axis besides x axis, shell method and why you'd use it/when it makes more sense, examples where you could use disc/washer OR shell method and understanding how to do both. And many more exceptions and applications. It's a lot, if your high school Calc course is good.

If you use a formulation which you have not yet been taught, you firstly have to define/prove it.
Define the symbol "∫".
If you can't, you're just doing an awkward imitation, using a tool you don't understand.
That is not a mathematics.

In the 50's formal set theory was taught in elementary before basic arithmetic. This created one of the greatest generations of mathematicians ever to exist; in the 60's, freshman maths was comparable to what's now post-grad level math.

A section going perpendicular to the basal circle and through the tip shows that it's a right-angled triangle, with basal radius r and height h. Define r(x) as the radius of the cone at height x going from the tip and consider that the slope of the cone is constant, which means r(x) is linear with boundary values of r(0)=0 and r(h) = r. From this follows that r(x) = x / tan(alpha) = x * r/h with alpha being the the angle of the cone mantle. Now integrate pi * r(x)^2 from x=0 to h, which leads to 1/3 * pi * r^2 * h. Insert values at your own discretion.

Another quiz then

50 smart people were captured by aliens.
They will be imprisoned separately. Each day the alien will take 1 random person into a same room, where there are only 2 lamps in it, RED LAMP AND BLUE LAMP, with 2 switchs, which can only be used to turn on and turn off those lamps.
This will last forever, until any of those 50 person say "ALL 50 OF US HAVE ALL BEEN IN THIS ROOM". If he/she tells the truth, they will be free. If it's not true, they will die.
Those people have 10 minutes last meeting to discuss the strategy. Which is the best thing they can do?
Both of the lamps were turned off in the beginning, and only those 50 people will turn on or off those lamps btw

Let F be the intersection of AE and BD.
AFB = 180- 60 -70 = 50
Therefore
BFE = 180 - 50 = 130
BEF = 180 - 20 - 130 = 30
Likewise
AFD = 130
ADF = 40

Let s = FED, x = CED & y = CDE, z = FDE

System:
s + z + 50 = 180
x + y + 20 = 180
s + x + 30 = 180
z + y + 40 = 180

Or
[1,0,0,1] [s] [130]
[0,1,1,0] . [x] [160]
[1,1,0,0] [y] = [150]
[0,0,1,1] [z] [140]

Simplifed as M.X= [130,160,150,140] (cauchy problem)

det(M) = 0. There are either no or an infinity of solution.

Resolving the system gives has one of the four equation simplifies itself in 0 = 0, so we need to declare a parameter (let s = t) which simplifies it into
s = t
z = 130 - t
x = 150 - t
y = 160 - x = 10 + t

For exemple t = 10 is a solution for whom all four angles are positive.

Oh I see, your system is underspecified not because of number of angles but because it doesn't exclude angles outside (0,180)
>>
>>139238117
2(xy + xz + yz) = (x + y + z)^2 - (x^2 + y^2 + y^2) = 6
xy + xz + yz = 3
3xyz = (x^3+y^3+z^3) + 3(x+y+z)(xy+xz+yz) - (x+y+z)^3 = 3
xyz = 1

So x,y,z are the solutions of the cubic:

0 = (t - x)(t - y)(t - z) = t^3 - 3 t^2 + 3 t - 1 = (t - 1)^3

This implies x=y=z=1 is the only solution.
