Avex Pictures began streaming a promotional video on Saturday to announce that Yagura Asano's Shakunetsu no Takkyū Musume (Scorching Ping Pong Girls) manga is getting a television anime adaptation. Kinema Citrus will produce the series.
The manga follows middle school students Koyori Tsumuzikaze and Agari Kamiya as they enter the world of girls' middle school ping pong.

The characters are probably the best I've seen in any anime, and while the animation may look shitty, it actually becomes quite endearing.
