The ending arc was something of a let-down. In comparison to Neuro, it was both dark but ultimately fitting (if a tad rushed).
Assclass's ending arc was not only rushed-as-hell-feeling, but it had severely nerfed enemies compared to the ludicrously overpowered bunch of child assassins. They might as well not have had any of the remaining enemies save for the mad scientist guy.
As well, it seems that all the enemies of the manga in hindsight are just too easy; the hardest people they were facing were their fucking grades back when the Principal was a ultraHitler-esque pseudo-eugenicist dictator.
Very strong opening and middle compared to Neuro, but ultimately didn't end as satisfyingly. Everybody goes their separate ways, but we're left largely just knowing that their strongest subset of the class just "succeeds." The other side characters are just there ultimately as filler for the cast.
