I want to watch this but I'm probably only going to watch it once. Should I watch it dubbed or subbed?
Has anyone here watched the dubbed? Is it actually good or just cringey. I usually just watch subs, but with movies, dubs are good sometimes.

Watched this for the first time last week. Not really sure how I felt about it desu. It was a little underwhelming, felt like someone took what should've been a seasonal show and just condensed it into movie format.

It's a pretty common opinion. Very well animated and a great feeling of bleakness, but the Little Red Riding Hood allegory takes up way too much time when something like actual character development should've been added to bolster the allegory. I suspect that the manga probably did better in that category, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
I watched this one dubbed way back during its theatrical run. I don't recall it being bad, but it's been so long I can't remember if it was particularly good, either.
