I feel like this whole season was mediocre and that it's not really hard to be the "best". In any other season konosuba would be the 3rd or 4th best show.
That along with GATE, boku machi, and grimgar have been alright. Heavy Object was technically last season but this second cour has been better than most of the trash this season offered.

Phantasy Star is an unintentionally weird show. It wants to be generic videogames are real and highschool romcom shenanigans only not really at the same time and turning up the cliches to 11 on both. I get the same pleasure watching it as I do a bad b-grade action flick as the cliches and the nonsense start to pile up until you realize you're laughing and having fun but your brain turned off 10 minutes ago. I really dislike osomatsu. I like the direction/art for some of it, and really like the ED - but I think the show is too "you must be this japanese to enjoy this anime" - which is a lot considering joshiraku is easily a top 20 series for me.
The jokes are just too fucking slow, repetitive and easy/dated. It's the bad side of japanese humor, to me at least. Plus I don't give a fuck about all the fucboy shit that goes on with it.
I don't like haikyuu that much, but its a decent 5/10ish series.

Honey and clover is my favorite anime/manga, with nodame leading close behind it. I think Osomatsu-san is really funny. Not all its jokes hit but I'd say most do, and the best gags feel really tight to me. Like you said, it's also gorgeous. Haikyuu's second season isn't as solid as the first imo but it's a well put-together show with a great cast of endearing characters, and especially recently it's been quite gratifying.
