Used to get so hyped for both Murata updates and ONE updates, now for about a year it's been solely ONE.
I get that Murata's version is trying to hype/pad up to the Monster Association arc, but holy fuck absolutely nothing is happening. This is some stereotypical shonen bullshit, and I'm not even talking about this tournament malarkey. The dialogue and fights are tropey as hell, which happened in the original but only to set up for a gag involving Saitama.
The only way this is going to redeem itself to me is if somebody during the tourney attempts to keep Saitama in the corner with repeated low kicks, to which he responds with a cocky grin and the thought "I just learned something useful for later..."
