In Ar Tonelico 1, she can only be romanced after she joins the party which is late in the game and where you've already been romancing one of the two main girls. Best part is if you pick her, at the end of the game the main character goes to visit the girl he dumped with his new bitch.
In Ar Nosurge, after she asks him, you can force (he's being mindcontrolled by the player, sorta) one of the characters to dump his childhood friend (who he actually has sex with) for her, not only being a huge douche but it leads to letting everyone he knows and the rest of his people die
That's actually presented as a joke ending you're not supposed to take seriously, though
