The reason i think Fusion Pendulum might be Stargazer is because Rune-Eyes is technically a Stargazer-Odd-Eyes fusion, and we have 3 Odd-Eyes in manga representing Stargazer, Timegazer, and OERD. It would also seem strange to give Timegazer all these evolutions and give Stargazer just Rune-Eyes.
Ultimately I think Fusion Pendulum will resemble a Fusion of Stargazer and Performapals.

Fuck, I R3 more often than I R4 in Pendulum Magicians. You can effortlessly turn Number 17 into an OERD and ALSO get a Synchro play or two out of it by exploiting Nobledragon's grave effect. It's pretty sustainable, too, since negation isn't as nice against Number 17 as it is on DRXD or Kachi-Kochi, and you don't auto-lose if you get your OERD-making scales popped.
