It seems that they both already have a odd relationship as hinted in volume 3, when Pandora cuts Albedo's speech off and they comically play tug of war with each other. Also, there is Albedo's jealousy directed at Pandora to take into account.
If anything, in the next volume and future volumes, i hope to see their relationship develop as rivals over who is Ainz's closest and most loyal subordinate. It would also be interesting to see how they differ in the understanding and execution of Ainz's vague orders

I do recall something like that from a manga I was reading, a country was named "The X Y" where Y was its type (Theocracy or whatever), and the scanlator group did talk about it and how they chose the English word to best describe the Japanese word.

I know you're being facetious and all, but you're actually right. It really is not like Ogliarchy implies rich people ruling or anything. Because it doesn't. Ogliarchy means it has few people ruling it, if those few people are all religious leaders then it can actually be a Theocracy at the same time.
The word you were originaly looking for is Plutocracy, which does in fact imply that it's ruled by rich people and by nature is also typically an Ogliarchy.

The NW inhabitants think that Momon and Nabe are foreigners because of their appearance. Does that means there's a place with asian-looking people or that's their answer for anything that is uncommon? The people of Carne village must think the same thing about Lupus and Yuri, since all the people from NW seems to be caucasian.
It would be interesting if Maruyama show us other continents, but I fear that the current one will be the only one who will be used in the story.

That ending wasn't really too "open-ended" since regardless of the protagonist's end state, his story is equally over.

I wonder if the NPCs loyalty can be changed through the time. Just as an example, imagine that Ainz rules the NPCs with great love and care for 100 years, and then some guild members appears and treat the NPCs like shit. Would the NPCs still prefer their creators over Ainz?

I mean, they all love their creators as if they were their own parents (maybe even more) and in the beginning they loved Ainz because he was the only one who remained, but after his actitude towards them since they came to NW, I'm inclined to believe a few of them have started to live him more than they originally loved him (Albedo aside).

There's the possibility that they wanted to lower the royal faction's power to make them more likely to broker a deal with them.
If nobility starts to go out of control, a purge is necessary and in order to do that without fear of revolts or invasion from the Empire, they need the church authority.
Then again this is just speculation, it could be just be that the horse that Slane is backing belongs to the noble faction.
