S-Season 2 when?
when nips get good taste
>>138632250
Next winter.
>>138632873
Y-Yes, next winter for sure.
>>138633253
You just have to believe.
I want to bite Kanata's neck just when I came inside her
>>138632250
After the VN translation is released.
It makes me so sad that Rio gets the D from the old hairy emperor of rome now.
Here's some status updates:
The manga scanlations are dead. The translator refuses to cooperate, so unless somebody offers to work on it (and sticks with it until the end, it's just one volume) there's not much to be done about it.
The QC for the visual novel is (not) proceeding, but at least that's all there is left to do.
Somebody's making a tank-kun 3D model for printing purposes, it's mostly done and all that's left to do is add lots of detail.
>>138633434
Is this the FFF fansub?
>>138633771yes
>>138633710
Sometimes I just want to just go TL the rest myself since there's, frankly, very little to translate left, but reasons.
Since this show takes place in a fictional Europe-based society, do you think the girls shave their bodyhair? Like armpit, leg, pubic and so on?
>>138633981
Reasons?
>>138634165
Yes they do it, rhey are several episodes where you see they don't have hair there.
>>138634270
Maybe they shave just enough to make sure it doesn't show.
Just finished this a while ago. Anyone else tear up at theAmazing Grace scene at the end?
Kanata is objectively the best girl.
>>138634375
I teared up at the episodewhere felicia met the soldier from the old time
Let's talk about how shit Felicia is at being in command.
"Oh look, a Roman scout who is likely part of the vanguard of an invading Roman army, should we tell anyone?"
"lolno, let's gamble our entire country and the lives of everyone in it on Rio"
Of course it payed off for her because of plot reasons but even then, only just. Kureha was right in wanting to tell central command so that they could reinforce the boarder and Felicia did almost everything wrong. Kureha would be a far better commander if she had more experience.
>>138634410
That's a funny way to spell Noel
Hey guys, guess what?Rio > Kureha > Kanata > Felicia > Noel
>>138634611
Felicia should be dead last but other than that, not a bad list.
>>138634611
The > sign means "greater than", not "less than", anon.
>>138634523
Felicia is best command
She could command me all day long she is so lovely and calm, and her voice is so soft, I jsut want to rest my head on her chest and fall asleep.
>>138634611Felicia = Noel > Kanata > Rio > > > > >Kureha

S2 gives the chance of ruining the perfect S1.
I don't want to take that risk.
>>138636007
Fuck off and think for yourself.
>>138632250
Someday i hope.
I want Noël to be my bride
>>138636373
And so does she.
>>138633656
Either I'm missing something or other anons are. She seemed to return at the last TV episode then was making plans to go on an air balloon sailing expedition.
>>138636509
She was in an arranged marriage anon, she probably had to take the D.
Sora no Woto is my personal favourite anime ever.
>>138636007
It's almost as good as Upotte.
>>138636645
>>138636509
>>138633656
Some anon mentioned in a past thread that even the Emperor acknowledged that their marriage was purely political, and that the never consummated it.
I'm not sure if there's any truth to this.
>>138636733
Mine too, friend.
>>138633656
Didn't she say something about him being a much better guy than she thought he would be in the last episode, after she met with him and returned to her squad?
>>138636817
Upotte is irredeemable garbage.
>>138636834
Rio just says that he is a pretty cool down to earth guy in the last episode.
Sounds to me like she has to take it once in a while but it is ok for her.
>>138636834
Doesn't count as consummation if it's in the ass.
>>138633656
It's a good example of this show breaking the mould, IMO. Most anime would tremble at the thought of implying something like that in anything but a negative way, but in Sora no Woto it contributes to the antique political feeling. Name another anime or manga where an arranged marriage isn't considered tragic.
>>138636834
I wasn't sure if they went through with the marriage in the first place. She seemingly went straight back to call off the battle in the nick of time.
The emperor had three other wives so who can say what their cultural rules precisely are?
>>138636857
exactly
>>138636834
There's that VN that's being translated which takes place after the TV series ends and has her return to the base to goof off with all the other girls and a VN original character.
I'd hate to think of that as a "real sequel" and not because I'm a saberfag who likes seeing waifus blacked, but because I like the idea of her trying to find the way to save the world and traveling around in that balloon. If the VN is a real sequel and not just a comedy spinoff it shits all over the ending.
>>138637393
I've read in past threads that the whole thing is fan service yurishit. If true, it sounds quite underwhelming.
S2 should tell more about the first war when they face the giant birds, or maybe some OVAs about his.
>>138637393
No it doesn't shit over the ending. It's technically a sequel, yes, but it's a standalone story that was played as safe as possible just in case an actual, proper sequel came along.
Like many of these games, I assume the story was not written by the original authors (and it kinda shows, unfortunately), but it was fun enough and it had a few heartwarming and a few sob moments among the random fun stuff. The ending was neat, too.
So dunno, it may be a third-party PSP cash-in, but I liked it nevertheless.
>>138637563
It's amusing, there's not a lot of yurishit. There's also a fuckload of content.
Neat.
>>138637692
>No it doesn't shit over the ending.
What happens? Does she only come back temporarily or what? From what I read, the wedding is called off, she goes back to the base, but the base is now defunded since there's no longer a war so the girls have to put on a music show to make money to keep the garrison going. Does the VN say anything about her future plans?
>>138638324
The wedding happened during the anime. That's where she went towards the end of the show but she was allowed to return to the garrison to continue her duties.
>>138638324
>Does the VN say anything about her future plans?
Not really, it is about 10 days of slice of life mostly. A spoiler from the true end is thatA year after the festival of the VN, they are at the next festival.. While some remarks are made to the story of the anime, there are no particularly interesting things revealed.
Also Filicia is a terrible cook.
>>138639016

>>138639095
>In fact, is there anything that Filicia isn't shit at?
she is lovely and caring, she is the one I would talk hours about all the sadness in the world, while drinking some red wine or have a smoke only interrupted by intense cuddling.
>>138639095
>is there anything that Filicia isn't shit at?
Growing breasts apparently
Was this an accurate translation? Because it implies they're engaged and still unmarried.
Sora no Woto felt like a 24 episode anime that was just starting when it ended.
>>138635313
You're on a whole different level of faggot.
>>138639776
Apparently it was originally planned to be 24 but they needed to put more resources into SAO so they cut it down.
>>138639828
And SAO still turned out so shitty.
The episode about felicia's past was fucking spooky.
That talking corpse
>>138639828
this makes me angrier than If I hadnt known

>>138640006
The mood whiplash compared to the previous episodes was fantastic, and the ending by the river totally sold the show's bittersweet mood for me.
>>138639828

I guess I could just relax and enjoy some beer and tapas. I think I pretty much covered most of the stuff shown in Sora no Woto except MAYBE places from the ED scene, I think that might've also been the No Man's Land border too. I could be wrong. I'm not going until June/August so I've got plenty of time to plan.
>>138639828

>>138641514
>>138641550

Instrumental version never.
>>138644189
Le pont de pierre is also pretty neat, when riding in the bus or tram, looking out of the window, while your thoughts circle around the degeneration of the modern world.
>>138643825
It was cute, though. And cute things are the biggest draw of the show. I would argue that if you don't like girls needing to piss then this show just isn't for you.
>>138643825
That's what I thought at first but now that I'm a pervert I'd probably pop a boner if I watched it
>>138644743
>cute things are the biggest draw of the show
>not the setting or music
They are certainly cute, but can find cute things everywhere.
If I were the emperor and I were in a purely political marriage with Rio, you bet I'd consummate that ass, "purely political" or otherwise.
>>138644900
>generic underdeveloped setting
>competent but completely misused music
So fucking many good shows out there, but you people keep reminding me of this soulless dreck of a show.
Go watch more titles already, get some perspective.
>>138644958
I'd just marry all the Wotos but damn, that Rio, Emperor had good taste. I bet she's a demon in the sack.
>>138644743
>>138644900
For me the appeal was the general character and also the mysterious nature of the show. There was so much complexity beneath the surface, and so much to be discovered. In the world, in the characters, in the themes. It really felt like exploration. I was exploring a beautiful comfy landscape, with tons of new things to discover, escorted by cute military girls.
>>138645080
What setting do you like more than SnW?
Rio got blacked.
>>138645177
Magic academy.
>>138645177
Let me guessevangelion.
>>138645080
How is the music misused? It fits the show perfectly, Girls who one who loves the trumpet in the middle of no where.
>>138645177But it's my favorite setting.
Guys, guys, we forgot the girl with the cutest German.
>>138645259
By far the best side character.
>>138645370
She also speaks it better than the roman girl, even though her seiyouu was born in vienna.
So I was pretty impressed about that.

You think Noel would've had to stand trial in season 2? Seems kind of weird they'd just let her walk around freely after killing large groups of people then again she was probably pardoned because she didn't really know what she was getting herself into when working on the machine.
>>138659577

It was definitely there, in the flashback where they show the spider tanks fighting you can see a reflection of its wing on a skyscraper.
>>138659577
She was not aware of what she was working on, so she's not really guilty.
>>138659577
She basically got the lab up and running again but didn't know or understand what it would be used for. Still, the Romans clearly know her name and attribute her to the wiping out of hundreds of thousands of people so her freedom would certainly be an issue for them in peacetime.

I don't think people take it seriously. It's pretty clear that it's a marriage in all senses of the word regardless of its political nature.

If I'm watching more Sora no Woto, I'd rather the Wotos at least be together for some reason instead of it constantly switching back and forth between the scenarios. There would have to be some plot point that reunites all (or most) of them.
>>138664418No tengo la menor idea. No soy de la tierra de hamburguesas, pero me encanta SnW.

How is it? I've wanted to try some for a while but it's not the easiest thing to find.

Has an orange like taste to it, quite nice, I recommend picking up some if you're in Cuenca. I also got a hanging house for my bookshelf, I think the shop is right next to the demon looking fountain Kanata plays with the cat or maybe it was near the tourist advisor place.

That's a loaded question, but I in particular like this series simply because it's so cozy, cute and there's much attention to detail.

I can't speak for everyone but it's nice to have an anime not set in generic Japan or America for a change.
Anime arguably isn't quite as common a thing in Europe at least in comparison to the number of weebs in the USA. What gets watched by people who didn't grow up as weebs is normally that which is notably 'different' from any non-japanese content rather than the more generic stuff.
They are such bad drinkers.Perfect.

It is the mindset of the whole show after losing 2 wars, our world was lost, now a few ones just go on making it out in a dead world, trying to keep an inner smile.
Why want S2? this show is already a classic.

>You'll never get pissed with the Wotos and play some good ol Jazz music

lol that's where the engine is

Don't question the wotos.

I didn't know about any split between American and European watchers of the show but if there is one, then this explanation makes some sense.

But that's just plain wrong, Italy and France are some of the most weeaboo nations in the world.
>>138668094
Well France is pretty weeb, but I think spain is is the real weebland, or maybe they are all in south america.
>>138668144
No, France and Italy are both way more weeb than Spain. Just look at the sheer amount of translated material.
>>138668144
You're right about Spaniards being weebs, even saw a Mazinger Z mural in a local bar that I go too last time I was there.
>>138668205
That's what I took for reference and it seems most of it is spanish.
I acceptCasa Pound is pretty weeb too
>>138668256
>Casa Pound
>>138665701
I need to see more of these maps
>>138668459
Only thing I associate wth Italy and weebs.
>>138664779
I've no idea. I'm not from burgerland, but I really love SnW
Did I translate that correctly?
>>138668497
What the hell, why?
Also, by counting all the spanish-translated stuff you're lumping in all of south America, so it's not a fair comparison.
