Yes, I remember the first episode building it up as an exciting show with a large number of interesting characters and then immediately dropped the ball.

Comiket arc was touching and beautiful. The music was powerful and moving. I cried at the ending to ep 4

I didn't really see the show as something that had a "story", but rather a SOL about 4 girls traveling around the country, helping people with what they could do. The overarching storyline of Chiaya also didn't really get relevant until the Hiroshima arc

The tone was inconsistent.
The characters meandered a lot because the writers didn't know how to make the story engaging.
Alien squids was fucking dumb and felt like they were just pulling random shit out of their ass late into the show.
The first episode, which SHOULD give us an impression about what the rest of the show should be like, made it look like exciting action and adventure when in truth the show was about some girls doing boring menial tasks and having some random rock concert.Which was probably the dumbest and most cringe-worthy part of the show
The show was just bad.
It didn't even produce much porn.
Good for the funny Blue Hearts covers. That's about it though. Art was pretty, too bad there was no substance to it.

if you would've read a description of what the show is about before watching it, you would've known that it would be exactly about that

But again, I knew what I was expecting. The description literally read "a not so ordinary story about ordinary girls". If you had expectations beyond that, that's kind of your own fault. Not to even mention that the tagline of the show literally says that they are destined to be a "mob"
