What is stopping Akira Toriyama from making Krillin or any of the other Z fighters as strong as Goku/Vegeta?
And for any of you Narutotards out there, what's stopping Kisimoto from making Sakura as strong as Naruto/Sasuke?
Like, I think it's absolutely bullshit when writers have characters completely left in the dust like that.
Especially when the show centers around the value of hard work as opposed to being born with talent.

After Piccolo fused with God, he was stronger than Goku for a short while, but a year in the Exaggerated Time Room fixed that.
They should do some arc where humans discover an ancient power they lost that explains why so many races in the galaxy look like them. Have the Z fighters become saiyan level power houses and turn Mr. Satan into a god.

What's hilarious is that Nappa was actually considered to be an upper class Saiyan. Vegeta, at 18,000, was an "elite". In the grand scheme of things, the Saiyans were shit.
Goku's just stupidly good at training and Vegeta had a shitload of second chances. In fact, if you consider that Vegeta was the apex of the entire Saiyan race at the time of his introduction, that would mean that Krillin and Tenshinhan are currently significantly stronger than every single Saiyan who was alive prior to the destruction of Planet Vegeta. Yamcha and Chiaotzu are questionable, but they'd at least be stronger than Raditz.

There's also the issue of dedication. Surprisingly, Goku and Vegeta do put a huge amount of effort into their training, to the point where they're willing to nearly destroy themselves in order to get stronger. They tear their bodies apart and go through the most retarded training regimens, going through an unbearable amount of pain, all for the sake of self-improvement.
Krillin just shoots lasers at the ocean a lot.
