It's just factually wrong. I'm not sure what your definition of a decent end is, but none of the other ends comes close to True End in terms of closure. They're all open ended and make Okabe sacrifice one or more of his friends. That and I don't see how you can think being the only person someone can turn to for support for over a year of subjective time can be written off as "a little help".
