Producing thunders and strong electrical discharges are utterly useless unless you just want to burn everything.
To feed something you need a constant flow of current with unchanging characteristics (except the instant phase of course) and during an extended period of time, even if we assume that she's capable of being fine enough to keep a DC/AC current of constant characteristics, she should be able of keeping it for a seemingly infinite amount of time (and at a high voltage so it's not all wasted by just being transported), unless she's incapable of doing that she's not more useful than what we have today.
