Apparently the current arc of saving Emi in Ente Isla is ending in this one, and I'm looking forward to seeing Maou go berserk and beat the shit out of some assholes. Unfortunately I'm pretty busy and probably won't get to read it until tomorrow evening.

So as the guy who only watched the anime, how are the LNs faring? I found second half of the adaptation with the mystery and all that less interesting than just Maou and Ashiya just being poorfags.

The poorfaggotry stays consistent throughout the novel but some crazy shit happens. I don't really want to spoil too much for you in case you decide to read the ln's, but basically Maou and Emi have a kid (more like they just find a kid that claims to be their's).
In the current arc Emi returned home to Ente Isla for a short visit, but she was like three weeks late and didn't return so they realized something was probably wrong and they went back to save her. The translator said this is the end of this arc so Maou is probably going to enter demon king mode and kill a few people and then they all return home happily.Still waiting for a season 2 though

No, the other two were killed. I might be mistaken but I think there were some demons that replaced his old lieutenants and technically they serve under him, but they are pretty much against him and want to take over.
Suzuno is still relevant, and she was actually just confirmed for liking Maou in the last light novel. Current harem count is 3 girls.

Sorry man, I probably can't help you find the Chinese versions.
I've noticed though that once the official translations are out most fan made ones are aggressively taken down, so are you sure there even are any Chinese translations available online? The current English translator said he would take down his light novels as the official ones started coming out, which is why he deleted vol 3 from his website.

Look on the bright side, Emi slowly losing whatever hate for Maou slowly peels off over 11 to 13 is pretty amusing. She has lost every reason to hate him and she becomes very affectionate. Chiho gets very annoyed and Maou is terrified by this change more than her hero mode.
