The Idea of Evil is something that was created by humans' need to blame something else for all their problems, rather than accepting responsibility for them. It will persist until humanity is ready to accept its own faults and no longer needs to rely on the existence of an absolute evil to support its own fragile ego. So in other words, humanity will have to either die out or evolve to be better people to defeat it.
However, I think what the manga is building up to is the antithesis of the Idea of Evil. The Idea of Goodness must also exist in such a world, and it will surely appear at the end to offer hope.

I like the way that concept is handled in The Wheel of Time if you've read it.Basically the MC captures the force of evil and sees what would happen if he destroyed it. It's a world where everyone is basically mind controlled into being pure and good, but everything feels hollow. He decides not to destroy it and instead locks it up because he acknowledges that that force drives peoples personalities and make people into who they are and needs to exist.
The last battle will be a debate against nerds.
