Most likely never. Unfortunately this kind of shit happens to too many different anime.
Hell, even if they do well, 80% of the time they're mostly just commercials for the Light Novel or Manga.
It's a bad feeling. Only made worse by the fact that I have a backlog several miles long for Anime, Manga and several different Light Novels.

Thing is, the novels covered by the series were pretty much just the ones where the worldbuilding happens and the general setting is introduced.
The characters get fleshed out a LOT by the later novels and become much more relatable and much less one-punch-roflstomp overpowered (since there are literally a ton of beings in Little Garden who are at or above even the powerlevel of Izayoi)

The show got worse the moment it started taking itself seriously. I expected rabbit bullying, what I got was your average stuck in a fantasy world clichee ridden plot with an overpowered self-insert protagonist. I would still watch a second season, but i don't understand the praise this show gets.
