The manga has been serialized in Kadokawa's Young Ace since 2012.
It is loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen's short story for children, The Little Match Girl, originally published in 1846.
The story revolves around the mysterious girl Rin who has "delusion matches" which can turn people's delusions into realities.

NAZ did Hamatora and Dramatical Murder. So not exactly a stellar portfolio but hey, this isn't the same realm as those prior shows at all, so it may turn out better.
An ep director for Aldnoah S1 may have grabbed some attention, but oh man S2. Between all this and the obvious CG in the preview, not exactly optimistic about this. Which is a shame because the source material is nice.
