The CGI is not bad, people like talk shit about them because they are not used to watch bad CGI and overall dislikes CGI. The CGI for bubuki is not perfect, but it's pretty fine.

Problem is the main case that's only made of retarded kids who's sole motivation is "muh bubuki ban" or "muh treasure island". They're probably so accustomed to the buranki being asleep up in the island that they don't really perceive the danger.
