Oda might have made the mistake of getting a cast too large to handle comfortably, but the only real flanderization was Sanji at FI.
Other acusations of this like: "Nami is just a greedy bitch now" or "Chopper is just a pet" are straight out false, and are there just because people resent the new art style.

People will say that anime doesn't matter, but some stuff being animated is great. G4 doesn't hold a candle against most G2 & 3 scenes.

I stopped watching part way through the Dressrosa arc. I didn't like most of the changes since the time skip (specifically Usopp using plants instead of gadgets and smarts, Brook becoming a rock star instead of a violinist, and Frankie just getting really weird) and I didn't like how everyone's gimmicks became way more emphasized. Luffy used to have his moments when he did something smart, or actually followed a plan somewhat, but now, he just doesn't think about anything ever. Zoro gets lost even more than he used to. Sanji is even more obsessed with women. I could go on, but I won't bother. In addition to all that, the art style got way worse in my opinion, and after a while I just couldn't bring myself to watch any more.
