I don't play Otome games, but this anime has definitely gotten me interested in this one. This happened a few times before but I never really went through with playing them (if they even had translations) simply because they're all the same shit, but the sports-team setting and parkour seems to get my foot in the door.

Stride definitely seems retarded considering on paper, parkour racing would sound great, but the reality is that the parkour really doesn't add to anything the teams want to do. If they want to make it to the goal fastest, why bother jumping and flipping and shit instead of fucking running? It doesn't take a genius to figure out sidestepping around an obstacle is probably faster then backflipping and do tricks over it, even if you vault or something. If there was a point component to races involving tricks and stuff I can see it being easily justified, but otherwise its utterly retarded.
