The setting isn't original, but so far its doing a wonderful job of showing the life of these people, not just their plot. The mage is actually useful once she learns a few spells. She can CC an unalert mob with a Sleep Spell and even an alert mob with high mental resistance with a Stun Mine spell.
Also she can fire a spell that can stun a mob for a few seconds. So she can keep 2 mobs out of the game while helping the party kill a 3 one.
Edgy Knight can only occupy one mob so the party can fight everything else and thats literally all he does.
