The complete ass pull vampire arc just because the gantz team finally show themselves to the world in the most badass way.

I can't remember the arcs, I just remember the teams. My favorite team was when Old Man, Reika and Cherry were around.
I don't know about the new series. Feels like the author just missed Kei and wanted to write a story all about her again

Well they were just your average edgy vampires that really had no reason to be in the story at all. They popped up as another faction and were known by some of the aliens for some reason and that was it. Same can be said about the guy that taught cherry how to become magneto; came out of nowhere for no reason.

If you're gonna be like that Muscle Rider is no different. He just happens to be based on muh martial arts hermit instead of ESP and Vampires. No one can get a body like his hoofin it across Japan the whole time.

Eh to me it seems much more out of place when they introduced fantasy elements to a, what had been, completely scifi story. The introduction of the avengers type rag tag gantz team of super powered people just didnt make sense when the whole storyline followed random citizens being forced into combat against an unseen alien takeover. But whatever i still loved it.
