I'd want them to cover the orochi saga, while giving focus to other fighters too, not just kyo and iori. I'd be all for some terry and co. or some kyokugen shenanigans. Or a kyokugen SoL like an anon previously mentioned.

Don't know about live-action and don't care. Expacting that to bomb hard as series like KOF don't translate well to live-action.
I want to see one of the early arcs animated. I want an ensemble cast of characters. No sole protagonist. I want World Building. The KOF lore has bits and pieces, but nothing definitive. The anime should change that. Great fight choregraphy. Fighting anime should have well animated hand-to-hand combat scenes. Not Dragonball Z bullshit. Badass OST. No SOL bullshit.

KOF's problem is that it has a central story, but it has half a dozen wildly different stories tacked onto it. I think it would be best to spread the worldbuilding among different series so they don't have to spend a lot of time introducing a bunch of characters with their own things going on. I said in the last thread I want a manga of the Art of Fighting/Fatal Fury storyline, and they could also do stuff for Athena, Ikari Warriors, and what have you before they ever touch KOF, so these characters can just show up and fit into place.You're expecting too much from the animation and choreography though, I'll tell you that right now.
