Prince (now king) Edmund took over the Royal Academy and basically everything went to hell once again thanks to that. The city is overwhelmed under a layer of "miasma" and a lot of characters died.
Raishin made a pack with one of the Roses (Black Rose) to be able to fight again after being haxed really bad in the events of volume 14 (thanks to Hinowa who stabbed him).

It is technically ruined in the last volume, but by that time there was only Raishin and his brother left anyway. Raishin beat Loki, who was the only other participant left before getting to Magnus.

Yaya is going to die in the same day of the last day of the evening party, which is the same day the last volume will be told in.

Raishin rescues Hinowa and her entire clan before Magnus killed them all, and prepares to have his last fight with him at the end of volume 15. (So far Raishin has already fought him like 3 times)
Basically the entire volume 15 was a huge prologue to volume 16, which is going to be the last one, and it ended with the final Raishin VS Magnus encounter. Raishin is equipped with the Setsugetsuka (Irori, Komurasaki and Yaya) and Magnus is using his entire squadron (6 dolls).

Hinowa is Raishin's formal girlfriend and the next head of the Izanagi clan (the strongest in japan after the Akabane clan was eradicated by Tenzen Akabane)
Magnus is the name Tenzen Akabane uses while in England, yes he is Raishin's older brother.

Not really, because the flood of characters stopped after they introduced wiseman Griselda (Raishin's new master) in volume 6.

She sacrificed to save the entire academy by giving Edward rutherford some time to teleport the students and teachers outside of the evening party coliseum that was being raised high up in the sky by Violet Rose and Edmund.
Because of this she got turned into mincemeat by Genous (The academy's supposed machine doll) which is only like a giant mutant-baby.

Pretty sure Ribiera (forgot if that's the actual name) is also dead, but forcefully kept alive by the Lette lake water by Black Rose. Frey was algo like this as she actually died way back in like volume 13, but Shouko and Black Rose kept her alive until volume 15 using this method too.

Because she wanted to take Raishin out of the picture before everything went to hell, as she knew her grandmother (Violet Rose) would attack the academy along Edmund and she wanted to keep Raishin out of all the conflict. She also used a curse on him that made his wound, aside from being way too profound, never being able to heal. This way Raishin was put into an state in which he can literally do nothing. This is also why Raishin gets haxed during volume 14, as he wanted to take out both Violet and Silver Rose, but thanks to Hinowa was completely put out of any and all events and had to get treated by Shouko to being able to properly move again.
Raishin knew he would no longer be able to fight again, and seeing how things were (the academy, the city and everything else going to hell) he decided to make a pack with Black Rose, in which Raishin told her to repair his body enough to get him to a point where he is able to fight again and in exchange, Black Rose gets a portion of his heart and puts it inside her, essentially making Raishin both his tool and his guard at the same time.

Yes, there are a lot of likable fights really. There are really good ones, but there are so many I will only mention them and you can ask me for an specific one if you want more details about it.

Raishin &Yaya VS Alice & Shin (volume 4) Raishin wins
Raishins(4-string kouyokujin) &Yaya VS Edmund &Ikaros (volume 5) Raishin wins but severely injured
Raishin&Komursaki(10-string kouyokujin with Griselda's help) VS Crimson King (a Wiseman and Griselda's master) (Volume 6) Raishin loses, but manages to repel and stab him
After this point Raishin learns to fully control Yaya after the small time skip, which basically enables him to share Yaya's herculean strength in his own body when he is with her. Raishin also gets the Ariadne's string tattoo which makes him able to use a 5-string kouyokujin whenever he wants without suffering bad effects.
Raishin&Yaya VS Edward rutherford (volumen 7) Raishin loses, but Griselda saves him
Rasishin & Yaya VS Magnus & 3 squadron (Volumen 7) Raishin loses, however he is able to fight Magnus for a while before getting screwed.
Raishin&Yaya VS Edmund&Ikaros (Volume 8) Raishin wins
Raishin&Yaya VS Charl's dad (Volume 9) Raishin wins
Raihin+Setsugetsuka(Yaya, Irori and Komurasaki) VS Crimson King (Volume 10) Raishin totally destroys him this time, wiseman Raikkonen is totally surprised how much of a "monsters" Raishin has become since volume 6, where he could only stab him
Rashin + Yaya VS Silver Rose (Volume 11) Not the real silver rose, but Raishin wins
Raishin+Setsugetsuka VS Gold Rose (Volume 12) Raishin cuts Gold Rose in halg, Raishin wins
Raishin + Setsugetsuka VS Grey Rose+Gyunes (Volumen 13) Raishin wins
Raishin + Setsugetsuka VS fucking no one because Hinowa stabs him and gets him completely out of the entire volume.

Tenzen wants to create God, or have it reincarnate into one puppet, but the exact details are still not clear. Raishin told him he was going to make him spit all the information after the wins their fight, but that's where volume 15 ended.

It is a shame. When the anime aired I tried to start translating the light novel, but there was already one guy doing it so I decided not to do it. However not he has already dropped the translation and I don't feel like doing it anymore.
However you can read all the information there (it really is a lot, so much some people told me I was writing essays of information about machine doll) so you can at least know what happens.

It's a shame indeed. But I know it takes a lot of effort to translate such a large amount of text. I've been involved on a translation project myself (mostly hacking/QC, it's a VN) and the amount of time it took to just translate it completely (not even TLC/QC) was easily more than a year.
It still sucks though what happened with the original Machine Doll translation.
