It's been looking up recently. Baam finally overcame his season 2 edginess once and for all and is kicking ass, and the aforementioned wrecking of Rachel by Khun.
Because bruteforce story is written too much and its the easiest to write about. Writing a story with strategic or rather intelligent character utilizing intelligence takes a lot of patience and calculations. With so many writers being hacks, the beautiful ones are the ones that try to bring out the intelligent character to the front.

Exis do not really belong in the story, they're gods that write their own story. Phantaminum is pretty much the only Exis in ToG and he's not a character nor does he really play a part in the setting asides from being it's creator(maybe).

Probably because Jahad and Yuri are important to the story. Yuri has been involved with pretty much the whole story so far because she's too young for a lot of the events and is too old to be with the main cast.
