When I was younger, Shaman Kong was one of the first shueisha manga to be localized.
It was done by a French company and then translated to Dutch by one dude.
It was pretty awesome, because the company made exact copies of the original tankobon version. Same size pages, no translation of the sfx, AND A MOTHERFUCKING DUST COVER
And then they noticed nobody except for me read SK, and so they cancelled the series at nr 28, just before the series was completed.
Then years later I had to import the american version with
