What manga are there with shit story but great art?
Say what you, Kubo's art is fantastic.
Hands-down the worst goddamn story and pacing I've ever seen, but the art is boner-inducing.
ototomegatari if like pointless detail on clothing
It's not his fault, really. When all the other mangaka draw their characters like they've got no noses, someone's got to balance it out.
This piece of shit
STILL FUCKING MAD
Are you kidding me? FKMT art is fine.
I personally love his artstyle; but others beg to differ
One of my friends refused to watch Kaiji because the artsytle was "different"
He was a fucking faggot and is now not my friend anymore
I love his artstyle too, and I personally believe it has this really nice charm to it.
Think about it. The background is there to complement the characters. If they are perfectly drawn and have everything, what does the background need to complement it? Nothing.
It had such a 10/10 start too. What the fuck happened?
You chose that picture just so you could excuse your shipping boner, didn't you
Hey, fuck you buddy
Just because you dislike the artstyle doesn't make the art bad
There's a big diference
Pic related is basically Great Art, Shit Story: The Series.
Cage of Eden
Story was ridiculous but the art was good
Another example of pretty good art but the story was as thin as wax paper (the people could not have been that stupid...i hope)
Sun Ken Rock applies. It's still a fun read but if the art were any less spectacular than it is then it wouldn't really be worth completing.
Also, I'd personally like to see Atsushi Ohkubo paired up with an actual writer. I dig his style, character designs, and fight choreography. And I guess he's okay when it comes to writing character interaction, but his overall plotting skills are awful.
