Godzilla isn't the protagonist even in his own films. What made you think he could carry a TV show? Godzilla is always in the background, never the main character.

1. Godzilla got an animated series in Japan in the late 90s. This thread clearly isn't about it and doesn't belong on /a/.
2. Godzilla also got two American animated series, one in the late 70s and another following the 1998 movie
3. The upcoming Japanese Godzilla movie is getting made by Anno. Sure it's live action, but it'll still be anime as fuck.
