WTF kind of problem do these japs have with eyes. I mean I kinda understand, when they paint the eyebrows over the hair. But why the fuck did they fuck up the glasses in pic related?
It just looks stupid and physically impossible. It can't be an animation error, the same thing is in multiple scenes. So it was a conscious decision they made. Nihon please explain yourselves.

IIRC they did the eye brow through the hair to effectively communicate the body language through the facial expression
Also in previous anime many drawings had a line border so if you tried to draw all this you'd get a bunch of bold borders globbing up the face
but the picture you posted is just fucking stupid, omitting the ENTIRE eyeglass frame just so you can show the eye which isn't currently communicating ANY bodily language>
