I don't know how McD works in Japan, but in the US, Corporate McD owns the real estate under most of its restaurants, but the restaurants themselves are normally operated by franchisees. Selling off their stake in the Japan subsidiary might not be hugely different from that, if it turns out they get most of their money from rental income instead of food sales proper.
The corporate-owned locations will end up shutting down, but the franchise'd locations will likely stick around if the franchise location's owner decides the loss of corporate's support is worth the risk.
End result will be a severe reduction in the number of golden arches, but there will most likely still be plenty of locations in areas where major profits were made (such as central locations in major cities and such).

I feel the same way. I can never really be bothered to cook for myself, but I'm more than happy to cook for many people. Additionally, most packaged goods provide for 2 or more people, so a fair amount of food goes to waste sometimes.
I just like to go to Costco instead.
Shame the one closest to me only has Pepsi and other Pepsi related products. I end up getting a water instead.

I haven't experimented. I had sushi a couple times and I had the worst stomach ache ever for about 3 hours. Then I had some tilapia another time and the same excruciating stomach ache.
Maybe it just wasn't cooked well. I don't know but I've been scared of eating seafood since then. Nothing is as fucking bad as stomach ache.

You could be allergic or eating undercooked seafood. Japan is the land of fish and fish accessories so be careful.
