Ok fine, so it's not the "five threads a day every day for the entire year" popular, but it's extremely well received. Most threads about it are filled with dozens and dozens of people talking about how great it was, and even the contrarian shitters who come into the thread to call it hipster garbage are relatively rare.
AOTS/AOTY threads also generally have a lot of people call it at least pleasant surprise of the year if not AOTS.
Wakaba girl was pretty fun. I also enjoyed akagami no shirayukihime with s2 coming out this winter.
