There are no exceptions. An adaptation can be tolerable, but at the end of the day, it can only ever serve as a poor reminder of the actual work. The only adaptations people think are good are the ones for VNs that haven't been translated, or released.

The problem to adapt Rewrite is the same of fate/stay night, is impossible cover all the routes in the same time because in a X route you are enemy of the other organization and girls, his power and ideals are different and they endings are incompatible(In 2 the city is safe, in 1 the city is destroyed and in 2 the world is destroyed)the only way to make a good adaptation is to make a Original Route where they use scenes of the five routes but in the end they fail to save the world and after starting moon and terra (Horrible idea) or something similar that Higurashi or Yosuga no Sora, covering each route separately and restarting in a point with "Moon route" Kagari encounter

Lucia's route had flaws, but I fail to see how it is the worst thing written in RW.
I played Kotori route, what I should choose next? I thought of going Shizuru and Chihaya, but their stories don't seem very interesting. Are they skippable?

All the routes are bad, Lucia simply has the most amount of 'alright' bits.
Kotori is good as a introduction route by hiding most of what is going on but is overall boring. Small parts like her parents sacrificing themselves and Kotori having to lift up Kotarou were the only good parts.
Shizuru's route is the worst with nothing happening except the ending with the diary. And one good part doesn't excuse nothing happening.
Servant's route is shonen tier meh.
Lucia is wasted potential.
Akane's route is alright but lacks enough CG to be good. How can I care about the post-apocalypse when I see the same fucking damn image of overgrown vegetation?
Moon is alright and Terra is rushed.

It's basically the order shown in the opening. Lucia and Shizuru are interchangeable but I personally prefer Shizuru being played before Lucia since it shows more of a bond during Lucia's route.

I didn't care much for the sacrifice part but the lifting up Kotarou was deliciously sadistic. You keep being reminded that Kotori is a weak girl, she can't do anything and even when she hits you, it's cute. And then you force her to lift essentially the only thing she has left in her life to safety. Forcing this completely weak girl to put all her strength into it. That's hilarious.
It can't be worse than the literal nothing happening before going into the forest and the nothing happening in the forest as well.
