Anyone else think that the length of the bog arcbogged downseason 2?
No, it was worth it.
>>135392544
Just read part 3 and the bog will feel like a breeze
>>135392544
Nah, it was neat.
You just have to take it one step at a time.
>>135392544
Just wait until you see part 3.
>>135392932
>see part 3
never ever :-(

Needs more Kaiji tears.
>>135392544
I don't mind it, but pacing is always one of the listed flaws with Kaiji (or FKMT in general, really).

>pigeons
>not crows
>>135393271
Things are not going to move forward from that
I love it, when a anime builds up the tension as long as possible. You watch it for weeks and then the moment you've waited for comes and sends shivers down your spine.
Kaiji and Over drive are good examples for this kind of pacing.

DBZ and Naruto too.

>complaining about the lenght of the Bog
>or any Kaiji arc for that matter
>>135394762
Akagi is as drawn out as it is because the end result of the Washizu match is already known, so it's focusing on the sheer stakes and how insanely lucky Akagi is by giving him hurdle after hurdle to jump over, as well as constantly giving Washizu more and more character development.
FKMT's biggest thing since Kazuya-hen or Zero Part 2 (whichever was first) is a bigger focus on character development and interactions, rather than getting the game over with.
>>135392544
Fuck off with your bad puns sans.
>People complaining about part 3
Seriously? At least he's actively trying to outwit someone, Part 2 is about two pre-planned events
I've seen all of Kaiji and Akagi, what FKMT manga should I read next?Mahjong is a plus
Also, speaking of deformed Mahjong players, anyone read Legendary Gambler Tetsuya, and has the manga for that been translated?
>>135396530
Read Ten. It's what Akagi was based off of and it's pure Mahjong. A great read.
Other than that, if you're more into the gaming aspect, go read Zero.
Also Kurosawa is an amazing read.
As for Tetsuya, MahjongKrazy (branchoff of FKMTKrazy) did a few chapters of Tetsuya and I think have the first 3 volumes done. But they held off on that for a while now and are working on other mahjong manga right now.
>>135396530
Not gamburu, but it's great nevertheless.
>>135396530
Also check out Buraiden Gai by FKMT, not so much about gambling compared to Akagi and Kaiji but still a great read that can be completed in one sitting.
>>135396697
>it's pure Mahjong
Except the last 2 volumes where it transcends itself.
>>135396800
Great taste anon. Has the second series been scanlated yet? Shin Kurosawa I think it's called.
>>135396876
Pretty sure it was the last 3, maybe I'm wrong
Why FKMT manga are just so damn good /a/?
Has anyone read hero?
Why is Kaiji so moe?
>>135396951
I believe we're more or less up to date with the latest full volume of Shin Kurosawa.
>>135397010
Hero is my favorite current running FKMT. Can't wait until FKMTkrazy picks it up again, the current battle has been amazing.
>>135397044
Because he is a strong female lead in a man's body
>>135396436
Yeah, but it was just a single game and honestly I don't think it really picked up until about halfway through. Now if there's any part to complain about, it's Part 4, 90+ chapters of Kaiji doing nothing but yelling at three retards.
The backstories for the Three Amigos were pretty great tho
>>135396697
Anyway to find the Tetsuya soundtrack? The anime has a really good soundtrack.
>>135397010
I always remember it as last 2 but yeah it started before that.
>>135396530
One outs
>>135399808
Seen it.
What the heck is going on in the new Kaiji chapters?
When they say they're going to be betting "lives" and each human life is worth 200 million yen, does that mean if Kaiji fails the gamble someone dies?
>>135401538
It's just a way of saying how high the stakes are, and emphasizing that they're fighting to their ruin.
>>135396530
Read Ten it's FKMT's best Kurosawa is worth checking out as well
>>135401538
Pretty sure that if (well, when) Kaiji runs out of money, Kazuya's gonna offer him to bet his own life for one "life".
Kaiji doesn't go full gambler until his life is threatened.
>>135405419
...I have an idea. What if he bets the lives of two dudes he brought with him? He's the only reason they're not already dead.
>>135406246
Since the guy he's fighting is trying to change his ideals about the value of human life AND he's pissed that he saved them
I almost guarantee that he's at least going to offer like "Hey, I'll let your trade those two guys for 400 million yen"
