The Rebellion twist was on par with the episode 8/ Beginnings twist. They'll spend their time dealing with the twist from the last movie.

The twist: a 13 year old god is delighted to spend life as a human again and doesnt want to go back to the loneliness that was non-existence.
Have you ever watched Madoka Magica or did you confuse the dark tone for edgy bullshit? 0% chance this doesn't end with Madoka and Homura together (Swan Lake lovers suicide). It's the meat in between that matters.
