Depends. There doesn't seem to be that much interest in it in the West, so the more popular fan-translationg groups might not think to pick it up. Of course, Reading Steiner will want to do it, but he's said that he wants to promote official translations of sciADV stuff, and has to be careful when choosing what to translate. Him making a fan-translation would obviously put official companies off from picking it up for a commercial release.

Yeah, but that was a massively different case. C;C has an extremely small following in the West, and everyone within it is part of the whole fan-translation scene. The S;G anime had an absolutely massive following, mainly comprised of Reddit and Tumblr who don't even know that fan-translations exist/avoid using them "bcs dats illegal :P". Companies knew that bringing the VN over with the tagline "The STEINS;GATE Video Game" was just printing money.

Reading Steiner and Blick Winkel have definitely beem working on a translation of Chaos;Head Noah since late 2014, at latest. Whether it's a fan project, or official is unknown.
PQube, the company that brought Steins;Gate to the PS3/Vita in English, has stated that they're planning to bring over another sciADV title in 2016.
