Don't expect them to be great works of art by some brilliant mind. Lone Wolf and Cub was dumb luck.
Crying Freeman is set up to be this tragic story about a man forced to be a weapon after seeing something who falls in love with one of his targets and then runs away with her to escape. But then the assassin syndicate who programmed him then makes him their leader and he commands them from their dragon shaped submarine as he goes around the world fighting people and having sex with women while naked who then join his harem. It's not really dumb fun, just dumb
Offered is special which actually you should read without looking anything up about it because it's so insane. It's not subverted expectations like Crying Freeman and the art is much better, and shorter
tl dr: don't expect quality characters or writing like sanctuary because ikegami has no quality control on collaborators or their dumb stories
