How about for once in this thread we imagine things from Kyubey's perspective, see things from the perspective of that littlespawn of Narakacute alien trying his best to save the universe. These links might help.

Even by his own standards he was a shit, though. He had that whole spiel about how sacrificing little girls to counter entropy would keep the universe going for humans, when we finally got to the stars. But he was using that very argument against a girl whom he had to at least suspect would end up destroying the Earth (or lock it into a stasis without suffering, whatever) if she became a magic girl.
I guess if this thread is technical I'll just leave this link here. https://wiki.puella-magi.net/Thermodynamics

If I wished for it, would QB let me fuck him/her/it?
>Waah waah waah, I can't accept the end of the end of the universe even though I'm so apparently wise and unfeeling, better go get myself involved with emotional teenage girls for some reason
What the Madoka franchise needs is a sequel in which Cooby accepts the ephemerality of all things, and stops being such a whiny shitter.
>>135315526
Sure.
He had a sound plan until Madoka fucked it up with her wish to become a God. Foolish lass.
You fuck with humanity you get what you deserve.
Find some way to save the universe without messing with us, bitch.
>>135313654
He wasn't a shit by his own standards, because by his own standards preventing entropy and saving the universe was far more important than saving Earth. Everything he said or did reflected that goal.
So yes, he is a shit, but I doubt he ever saw himself as acting out of malice. It's the epitome of the "greater good" argument.
Kyubey is a dumbass because the universe will probably end in a big rip instead of a heat death.

But isn't it logical to want to remain existing?
>wake up
>its sayaka day
>no work either
>go back to bed
>>135322792
Every day is Sayaka day
>>135322844
No, just Sundays. All other days are Homu days.
>>135322934
>All other days are Homu days.
That's too much Homu
>>135322844
>73KB
Why even live Anon.
>>135323002
>too much homu
I don't understand what you're saying Anon. How is this possible?
I watched Madoka Magica and I seriously had to skip some parts. Don't misunderstand, anime was fine, had some great music and the twists were great but Madoka herself... It's just unberable to watch. Crying all the time, holy shit... Even the blue haired girl was more interesting than that little shit. I hate Madoka and I always will.
>>135323010
are you a witch
>>135323069
homu should not eclipse Sayaka
>>135323075
As a fan of the series I rate the anime 7/10, the fan artists 10/10, and the trolling/shitposting/drama 8/10.
Agreed, some dull edgy moments, but to say unbearable? I didn't find that at all. I was on the edge of my seat the first watch through.
>>135323106
>a witch
Shh, close your eyes Anon.
>>135315921
But without Incubators humanity wouldn't have advanced.
>>135325444
Doesn't mean they have to be dicks about it
>>135325444
That may be, but was it worth it in the end?

Oh, she's black and white.
Is she going to stab herself again?

No,you.

Poor Mami.
>>135326657
>poor mami
I know right, she's always gettingSHAFT[/spoiled]ed.

How do you want something when you shouldn't even feel the wanting?
>>135326880
Didn't know spoilers worked that way as well
>>135327581
Okay I'm just making a guess here, Incubators have no instincts or emotions, they think in pure logic. Whatever enters their senses or understanding they automatically try to break down into it's component parts to fully understand it and see the inherent 'logic' inside of it. If Incubators stopped existing their would no longer be anymore logic to apply to things, and even though they have no instinct to survive like the life we know, they would logically want to survive just to continue their own quest of logic.
If they have the technology and the resources (magical girls) to prevent their eventually demise (entropy) and they have the will to live just to understand everything logically, than it wouldn't be in their best interests to give up.
>>135323075
>...
>>135328164
They don't have interests.
>>135327666
Don't worry about it, Satan.
>>135328268
You're right, but to them it's either to exist or not to exist. Both options mean nothing to them, but if they chose not to exist the shows magical girl plot wouldn't have happened, so in all the possibilities they HAD to decide to continue existing.
Imagine you had several universes with Incubators who just gave up. In all those universes humanity never became elevated by Incubator intervention and just stuck to caves. The only universe that would have consciously aware humans would be the one where the Incubators continued existing.
>>135328702
Yes, what is it?
>>135315800
I still don't get why he granted Madoka's wish when it was obvious the wish would alter his plan. Or even how he could grant it. If he's so powerful to change the entire universe, why the hell does he go through this roundabout fuckuppery of harvesting energy through emotional fluctuations?
Incubators, they never learn.
>>135330295
Because the power comes from the girls, not the Incubators. As you point out, if they could do this stuff themselves, they wouldn't need to bother with Earth.
How many times did Homura loop?
Over 100?
