Anime is okay but it removes certain parts and in turn, it makes the pacing feel more rushed and the jokes more rapid-fire in their delivery. Won't really hurt to check out the manga.

The reason why I like her more. With Mari as prez you barely see her act, just the Vice Prez or Hana.

Mari did a lot more in the 2nd arc too. It's probably because it was much more centered on their rivalry where as the first arc was focused on the boys and their plans, the girls were sort of secondary there.
