I actually feel almost the opposite. With T&B I felt completely dissatisfied with the ending because they barely even touched the mystery behind Ouroboros, they even did a kind of sequel hook at then end with it but after all barely anything was revealed even though it was a huge plot point. Same with Lunatic and his brand of execution style justice.
In SamFlam at the end I felt like everything came to to a full circle, didn't felt any arc invalidated the previous one since they were all connected and you could see the progress going from one to another. You could even see connections to the last arc since the first one. The journey felt complete.
And well, that's just like my opinion, man.
If only /a/ had the buying power to pull a watamote on this and save manglode.
Too be fair, its probably better off as a cult series. Casuals would ruin everything about this show.

That's one of the things that made Samumenco feel more real. Everyone has different outfits and in Goto's case you can even see him wearing different combinations of the same clothes. Wish more anime did the same.
So what was up with Sawada Haiji? For a few episodes the show made it look like he was a ghost of a dead boy haunting Masayoshi, and then in the climax it was revealed that he was real.
But then how did he attack the Flamengers almost simultaneously at different locations? And how did he do that trick where he appeared at the river but quickly disappears after Masayoshi goes towards him?

I disagree. I really really love SamFlam's OST, especially the use of guitar. TWGOK's OST is pretty good as well with a few standout tracks, can't say much about Hayate and ZKC was unmemorable.
I can listen to the OST and replay scenes in my head. The sound direction in the show is one of its greatest strengths - the track kicks in at the most perfect moments and the transitions to the ED especially when it's jarring is fantastic like episode 7

Yeah I have a real issue with anyone who says its just a trainwreck or nonsense when the final arc makes it really clear that both Gotou and Hazama are much more alike than was initially understood.
The whole first arc is about how Hazama is nuts. Then Hazama makes the world nuts, and its all a metaphor for not accepting reality. You even have the MMM girls commenting on how ridiculous it is when the alien shows up and Mr. ENTERTAINMENT who's just smug in the background.
Then during the final arc we're brought back down to the same level as the first arc, theres even a character there from the first arc to give that idea of a circle being completed. And ultimately Gotou's delusions are no different than Hazama's in the end.
The show is a masterpiece about fantasy, told using fantasy, and I pity the people who missed that. There's a reason why they defined Flamenco the way they did, because its a dream that never had a chance of being real, and us watching the show already know its not real.
Which is why so many people got confused when gorilla showed up, because they were thinking that it was going to stop at batman stationary. They didn't notice that the show was never a real 'fake' toku from the start, which is why the final arc was so necessary to wrap everything up.
Of course the bulk of the series was nonsense but that was the point, as the Universe said he could keep Hazama busy forever.
Hazama's choice after that is entirely different from Gotou's, because he from the start only wanted to be a hero to enact justice and not solely to be a hero. Gotou was running away from reality even at the final scene, while hazama became president of da earth.
So what the fuck was up with that text at the end to Goto from his "GF". Was that from Mari? Or is he still delusional? Possibly even more delusional because now he has to suppress his homo lust for Sumumenco?

The homo lust doesn't exist. Hazama lives for justice anyways. I figured it was implied that Gotou wasn't able to get over it that easily and it makes sense as right before he says that he's still mad at the kid for deleting the texts.
Likely, Gotou may move on for real but you have to remember he was doing it most of his adult life.
As for Mari I don't see that ever working out with Gotou. She's just into his looks and he's emotionally bankrupt.
