I was impressed with the visuals. They did a great job basically representing the fedis and the zeons as nearly real people and not just one side just being hopelessly generically evil. Also the detail they put into the character design I really liked the way that one zeon dude has fake ass like 60s era robot prosthetic arms for example that was real cool to see. Visiting both camps and humanizing both sides kinda reminded me of an american civil war movie.

Not sure if we seen the same thing but this was very disappointing.
Disregarding the fact this is an hour long OVA in total, the problem was this felt very calculated. Nothing felt fluid. Everything from the jazz, to the sneezing gimmick, to the snipers banter, to the prosthetics and even the ending where he jizzed himself screaming "gundam" felt like a bunch of people spitballing ideas and combining everything together.
Nothing felt organic in the entire episode, instead I was watching a bunching ideas that are "unique' crammed into the episode and then me wondering 'why' the entire time.
6/10. Only reason it is not a 5 is because the visuals and sounds were top notch, everything else was subpar.

The feddie mc wasn't unsympathetic, he was just an arrogant 80s action hero type. I found him not unlikeable at least i mean it was 18 minutes long not much time to really develop anything about the characters.
