Ideon sucked, the only good thing about it was the movie, tomino is a very flawed director and ideon was from a time where he was at his worst, 079 was the exception to the rule and it wasnt till the 80's where he really started to find a way to direct properly, he sadly did lose it after he peaked with turn-A but even his worst shows to come afterwords were better directed than his early stuff its scripts were the issue
