This, except I have a pretty good idea of why it's not so great.
Firstly, I wasn't onboard with the idea. I thought ants eating humans and making ant-humans was cool and all, but once they developed Nen from getting their asses kicked and were suddenly stronger in a day than masters who have trained for decades were, it became stupid. I tried to like it, but it was kind of like that chapter in Ippo that everyone hated where Ippo fought a complete beginner who basically outclassed him in every way because he was raised in the jungle or some shit.
Besides that, Pouf was really annoying and there was too much going on during the mansion infiltration which took up multiple episodes (Octopus guy infiltrating, Leon sneaking, Youpi vs. Knuckle, Youpi vs. Shoot, Smoke pipe guy vs. Pouf) when all I really cared about was Gon and Killua. I don't think Knuckle and Shoot needed to be introduced at all. We didn't need more characters. I liked Merum playing Shogi with Komugi though
