Isn't taaki supposed to be nonexistent in Japan (hence the popularity of KFC during Christmas)?
Why is she looking forward to it?
The rarity.
Wouldn't you be excited to eat a more expensive meat compared to some chicken?

It's a rare treat. Something she's had maybe once or twice, or possibly not at all, and is looking forward to it again or trying something new for the first time.
I know I was exited as fuck a few years ago to try duck for the first time. Maybe not as excited as Yuki-chan and taaki, but still.
I raised turkeys to eat this past year - when I ate them I can't say that I wasn't imagining my one true anime waifu having fresh homegrown turkey.
Also, if anyone has a higher quality of pic related it would be cool

FORGOT PIC

That's the original file size/resolution to my knowledge.

Dang it.
At least I got double doubles.

Even KFC's crazy expensive for them there. A bucket goes higher than $40. I mean that. Nips actually preorder their Christmas set from KFC a month in advance even.

Turkey for them is comparable to expensive game meat for a typical murrican. Nips have to get them imported as it's just stocked by Japanese grocers.

Not stocked.

I have an example.

This set of 5 legs cost $20 in itself (that's basically about as far as what Nips eat when they go for Turkey.) That doesn't include shipping, which would bump the price up to $30.
