On one hand, music, action and animation was good, hobo abusive Hei is kinda interesting, and July and Suou were cool kinda. On the shit side, they kinda throw the ending of s1 out, Maou becomes an extreme ankle fetishist hamster which retconned his "death", Suou was kinda mary sue-ish, and I remember 0% of the plot. I've rewatched Season 2 more than Season 1. It's a fun dumb ride, especially if you're drinking. Also, it's a great winter rewatch, since like half the show takes place in either Russia or Hokkaido. Not that that matters in this weather.

The OVAs (the actual OVAs, not S2) are great, but they'll leave you wanting to know what happens in S2. It's not worth it, man. Just stick with S1 unless you really like red-haired half Russian girls.
